From the moment the song starts with the sound of boots hitting the floor you know it’s going to be a badass song. The heavy instruments start the song off with a bang. Taylor Momsen’s vocals never fail to bring forward the soulful rock sound with her deep beautiful voice. It would not be a rock and roll song by The Pretty Reckless without a guitar led instrumental breakdown ending with Momsen’s powerful vocals. The heavy feel of the song makes you feel as if you are one of the characters in the song who did not die without leaving a rock and roll mark in this world.

It has been four long years since The Pretty Reckless released any new songs, and now the time has come for a new one. With the release of “Death by Rock and Roll” I am excited to listen to a new album whenever it is released.
